When Deion Sanders was named the new head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes football team, there was an unprecedented amount of roster turnover. One player who stayed was Michael Harrison, a walk-on who has emerged as a weapon in the new offense led by Sean Lewis.
He has become a quality tight end and has been pegged as a potential sleeper in the Pac-12, which is a huge step in the right direction. After the TCU victory on Saturday, Harrison grew emotional when discussing what this meant after he has been with the Buffs since 2020 (h/t Thee Pregame Show)
“Man, I might cry,” Harrison told ‘Thee Pregame Show.’ “I’ve been here for so long. It just feels so good to win. We work so hard, bro. I love this (expletive). I’m just so happy. I’m just so happy right now.”
The junior from California has been with the Buffs every step of the way. After a one-win season and the subsequent hiring of Coach Prime, the hard work paid off in a big way in Week 1.
