One of UCLA’s biggest targets in the class of 2025 has set his decision date.
Quanell X Farrakhan Jr., the 6′ and 170-pound wide receiver from North Shore High School in Houston, Texas, is set to make his recruiting announcement on July 13th at 2:00 p.m. Farrakhan Jr, a four-star recruit, has the Bruins, Colorado Buffaloes, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Arizona State Sun Devils at the top of his list currently.
Though history would point to Alabama being the clear favorite, following the retirement of Nick Saban, the future of Alabama recruiting hangs in the balance. Given the Bruins’ recent momentum, scoring several four-star recruits, UCLA could still be in the mix for the Lone Star State standout.

As the Bruins continue to pick up recruitments on both sides of the ball, adding Farrakhan Jr. to their 2025 class would be a massive boost to UCLA’s roster as well as a potential sign of things to come.
Given the recent praise DeShaun Foster has received and the facelift he has given to the program, the Bruins could potentially only be a year or two away from truly competing in the BIG 10 and NCAA as a whole.
