The offseason for the UCLA Bruins led many to wonder whether or not they would still be an attractive landing spot for highly-rated recruits. But as the official visit dates are set, there can be no doubts as to whether that is true.
The Bruins locked in a visit date for four-star tight end Kaleb Edwards according to 247 Sports’ Brandon Huffman (subscription required). Edwards, who will visit Georgia, Alabama, Washington, Texas, and Oregon, kept UCLA in the mix with a May 10th visit date.
The El Dorado Hill, California, native has UCLA as his only California school listed in his visits. Though UCLA may not have the recent success as their competitors, the Bruins are in the market for their tight end of the future. Leveraging the new coaching change as well as Edwards’ projected roster spot, the Bruins present themselves as the team with the most playing-time upside.
With Edwards’ visit in less than a month, the Bruins should throw everything and the kitchen sink at him in order to make the best possible impression on the class of 2025 tight end.
