Danny Sprinkle has his first commit for the 2025 class. On Tuesday morning, four-star guard Courtland Muldrew announced his commitment to the Washington Huskies after taking an official visit to campus over the weekend.
“The program needs a point guard like myself,” Muldrew told 247Sports’ Brandon Jenkins. “I also wanted to play on a bigger stage on the West Coast.”
The 6-foot-3, 170-pound product of Oak Hill Academy in Virginia is ranked as the nation’s No. 96 prospect and No. 17 shooting guard by 247Sports, but with guards DJ Davis, Tyree Ihenacho, and Luis Kortright all in their final year of eligibility, Muldrew is expected to shift to the point behind Zoom Diallo when he arrives.
“I could tell the value I bring to the coaches,” Muldrew continued. “I could also tell exactly what they want from me and how they can get me to the next level.”
Muldrew, who is originally from Springdale, Arkansas, holds 13 offers and picked the Huskies over Creighton, LSU, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State.
