Lincoln Riley and the Trojans are closing in on 2024 West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade four-star safety Marquis Gallegos. The four star is rated as the No. 254 player in the country according to the 247Sports Composite.
Gallegos had this to say on the USC program: “I’ve always been a big USC fan growing up because I’m from California, and the direction that Lincoln Riley has the program headed is big time for them.”
The top five includes: Oklahoma, Michigan, USC, Notre Dame, and Oregon
Gallegos is listed at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds. He is rated as the 23rd overall player out of California for the class of 2024. USC is hoping that this top-25 player stays home.
Gallegos has been on a busy visit schedule this month, starting June with visits to Michigan and Notre Dame. He is also scheduled to begin an official visit at USC this weekend and end the month with a visit to Oregon.
