The top running back in the state of Alabama recently picked up an offer from the Auburn staff. Jeremiah Cobb is rated as a top 20 player in the state among the top 150 according to Rivals.
Cobb will be a key target for the Auburn staff in the upcoming 2023 recruiting cycle. It is one of the most talented classes for the state of Alabama in some time. Auburn has shown what running backs can do on the Plains. Tank Bigsby is among the top backs in the country and Jarquez Hunter is trending up for Auburn.
Adding Cobb next year will give him an opportunity to contribute early on after Bigsby likely jumps to the NFL following this season. He could see time during the freshman campaign, much like Hunter did in 2021.
