Just a day after getting a commitment from four-star edge rusher Javeon Campbell, the defensive line got another big-time addition. On Wednesday, defensive lineman Kalen Edwards added his name to the list of 2025 recruits to join Kentucky football.
Edwards is a 6’4″, 315 lb defensive lineman and rated four stars by 247sports. He ranks as the number 342 recruit overall in the composite rankings of the 2025 class. They have him as the 38th ranked defensive lineman.

A Tennessee product, Edwards becomes the sixth four-star recruit to commit to the Wildcats for 2025. His addition puts Kentucky’s class inside the top 20 nationally, something that fans aren’t quite used to yet.
Coach Mark Stoops and his staff have done a terrific job with the roster in recent years, and it looks like 2025 will be one of their best so far. Big Blue Nation is excited to see them play in Lexington soon enough.
