One of Auburn’s top targets for the 2025 recruiting cycle is delaying his commitment date by one week.
Ousmane Kromah, a four-star running back from Leesburg, Georgia, tells On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he will commit to a program on Oct. 5 instead of his original date of Sept. 28.
“I’m not going to be 100% sure until that day, but I’m pretty sure I know where I’m going,” Kromah said in a recent interview with On3.
Auburn is the favorite to land Kromah as of the time of the post with a 92.3% forecast according to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine. Auburn also holds two crystal ball predictions from 247Sports. Kromah recently visited Auburn for the Tigers’ win over New Mexico on Sept. 14 and enjoyed his time on the Plains.
“Why would I not want to come back?,” he said. “It’s always a great atmosphere, always great energy, always good to be around (the people). They always make me feel welcome. It’s just great to be back in general,” Kromah said. “I just wanted to come back and be around the good people and just enjoy my time being down here.”
Georgia, Florida State, and Tennessee remain in the hunt alongside Auburn for the No. 5 running back from the 2025 cycle. It will be interesting to see if Auburn remains the top team to land him, or if Georgia makes a late push with an extra seven days to work with.
