Head coach [autotag]Bruce Pearl[/autotag] is searching all over for his first commitment of the 2025 class, even in Canada.
[autotag]Efeosa Oliogu[/autotag], a top-10 shooting guard from Toronto, Ontario, revealed last weekend that he has locked in three official visits. One of which will be to the Plains.
According to Joe Tipton of On3, Oliogu will take his official visit to Auburn during the weekend of Sept. 15. The week prior, he will visit Maryland, and he is also scheduled to visit Missouri in October.
When discussing his interest in Auburn, he mentioned that the Tigers’ uniform supplier has played a key role in his interest.
“I’m an Under Armour type of guy, so Auburn is my type of school, I guess,” Oliogu tells On3’s Jamie Shaw. “They’ve shown me a lot of love for a long time. They continue to reach out to me, and I feel that their community is very strong. They like how explosive I am and how I always play my hardest. They’ll also tell me they like how I rebound.”
At the end of the day, Oliogu says that he will choose the program and scheme in which he feels the most comfortable.
“I’m going to be looking to be able to do what I do. I don’t want to play in a system that will put me out of my comfort zone and fit into the program,” Oliogu said. “The relationship I have with the coach will play a role; building a good relationship with the coach will be big.”
Oliogu is a four-star rated shooting guard by 247Sports, On3, and Rivals. Although from Canada, Oliogu is transferring to DME Academy in Daytona Beach, Florida for the upcoming season. Since his move, he has become the top recruit from the state of Florida for the 2025 cycle.
Efeosa Oliogu, On3's No. 10 overall prospect in the 2025 class, tells me he’s scheduled an official visit to Auburn on September 15-17.
Also scheduled to visit Maryland (Sept. 8) and Missouri (Oct. 7).
