Four-star EDGE Christopher Jackson lists Auburn in top 10

Auburn joins Georgia, Alabama, and others in consideration for the blue chipper from Tucker, Georgia.

Auburn has had success in landing blue-chip talent since [autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag] took over the program late last year, and it appears that he wants to continue his momentum.

Auburn is in the running to land EDGE [autotag]Christoper Jackson[/autotag], a four-star from the 2024 cycle from Tucker, Georgia. Jackson revealed his top ten this week, and Auburn is included with the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, and LSU.

As of now, Auburn is low on Jackson’s top ten list. Jackson has already set official visits to LSU and in-state school Georgia. The Bulldogs currently lead in the race for Jackson, as On3 has given Georgia a 33.3% chance to earn his commitment.

“I’ve always felt like I was capable of getting these offers and doing everything that I’m doing now,” Jackson said in an interview with On3’s Jeremy Johnson. “I feel like hard work pays off. That’s something that I believe. I’ve seen my mom work hard to accomplish the things she’s accomplished. Hard work pays off. Not to sound cocky, but I knew one of these days someone was going to take a chance. It’s opened up the floodgates.”

Jackson, a 6-3, 220-pound EDGE from Tucker High School in metro Atlanta, is the No. 7 EDGE for the 2024 class according to On3, and the No. 75 overall prospect for the cycle.
