A talented defensive back has locked in an official visit with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Adonyss Currie will visit the Lincoln campus on April 27.
Nebraska is one of five programs that the four-star cornerback is visiting. He will also visit Texas A&M (April 13), Washington (June 1), Miami (June 8), and Utah (June 15).
The Lancaster, California native told 247Sports that defensive coordinator Tony White has played a big factor in his interest in Nebraska.
“I really like Tony White, the DC a lot. He’s a former DB coach and knows the position really well. He sees a lot of potential in me and feels I can come in and play early and be an impact guy.”
Standout Lancaster (Calif.) Quartz Hill DB Adonyss Currie is set for a busy Spring/Summer and recently locked in five official visit dates and is working on a few more as well https://t.co/vMe2AI2w98 pic.twitter.com/1OwrKEPKI7
