Four-star CB added to visitor list for Florida-Tennessee game

Jett White, a four-star cornerback that backed off his commitment to USC, will be in Gainesville on Saturday to see Florida play Tennessee.

It’s no secret that Saturday’s clash between Florida and Tennessee will be one of the bigger in-season recruiting weekends of the year for the Gators.

The latest name to get added to the visitor list is Miami Edison cornerback Jett White, a former USC commit, according to Gators Online’s Corey Bender and Keith Niebuhr.

Billy Napier and Co. offered White a scholarship in August, and now they’ll get him on campus for his first gameday experience. Secondary coach Corey Raymond is high on White, and it sounds like there’s some growing interest from both sides.

White previously played high school ball in California, but he’s in Miami for his final two years.

“Florida is a school I have always liked but wasn’t getting much interest from,” White said. “I guess moving to Miami kind of put me on their radar since I am a local now. They are definitely high in the mix now.”

A four-star recruit everywhere but 247Sports, White is ranked highest by ESPN at No. 140 overall in the class of 2025.
The On3 industry ranking, which uses a weighted average of all four major services, grants him four-star status and puts him at No. 236 on the national rankings. He’s also No. 22 among cornerbacks in the class and No. 35 among recruits from the state of Florida.
