Four-star 2026 WR includes Washington among top 10

Four-star WR Xavier Owens released his top 10 on Friday.

The Washington Huskies have added four wide receivers to their 2025 class, but that hasn’t stopped them in their pursuit to stack talent and add more prospects in the coming years. On Friday, four-star prospect Xavier Owens of Narbonne High School in Los Angeles, California announced his top 10 schools and included Jedd Fisch’s Huskies among some of the nation’s elite teams.

Among his top 10, Owens is also considering Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Oklahoma, Penn State, and others. The 6-foot-1, 150-pound receiver has seen significant interest from all over the country and could continue to rise during his junior season.

Wide receivers coach Kevin Cummings has shown significant interest in Owens, offering him in June 2023 during his time at Arizona and then again during spring practice at Washington after inviting him up for an unofficial visit.

Kalen DeBoer’s staff was also interested in the No. 34 player in California and nation’s No. 48 receiver according to the 247Sports Composite, as former running backs coach Lee Marks also offered him a scholarship in June 2023.

As Owens continues to narrow down his list, he could emerge as a big target for the Huskies, who are pushing for some of the top pass catchers on the West Coast in the 2025 and 2026 cycles.
