Four-star 2025 recruit wants an offer from UNC basketball program

A four-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class has called the UNC basketball program his ‘dream school’.

The North Carolina Tar Heels are still building their recruiting board for the 2025 cycle as Hubert Davis and his staff are identifying prospects to target for the class.

As it stands right now, UNC has a total of 7 active offers out to prospects in the class. But with a long ways to go, that number will certainly increase and hopefully the Tar Heels will be able to land some commitments.

One player that is hoping to gain some interest from the Tar Heels is four-star power forward Niko Bundalo. The Ohio native is a top 25 player that has 13 offers so far. But he has his eyes on an offer from his ‘dream school’ as he told Jamie Shaw of On3:

“An offer I really want is UNC,” Bundalo said. “I grew up a fan of them and haven’t gotten the opportunity to talk with the coaches there yet.”

“My mom is from Chicago. She grew up watching Michael Jordan when she came over to the United States. So watching Michael Jordan and all of the documentaries and his old highlights, UNC just kept coming up. So she started liking UNC, and so did I, and they were the school I kept watching through my whole childhood.”

Time will tell if UNC gets involved but it’s always nice hearing a prospect talk about the program and strive for an offer.

Whether he gets one from the Tar Heels is still to be determined.
