Four University of Tennessee track and field athletes posted personal bests in their respective events Friday at the Tiger Paw Invite in South Carolina.
The indoor event was hosted by Clemson University.
In the women’s shot put, Zoe Vlk had a throw of 12.89 meters (42 feet, 3.5 inches).
Vlk, an in-state product is a native of Lebanon and a graduate of Wilson Central High School.
In the women’s 60-meter dash, Joella Lloyd of the Lady Vols posted a time of 7.20 seconds as she edged Kentucky’s Abby Steiner.
Lloyd now has the top time in the event among Southeastern Conference competitors.
In the men’s shot put, Tennessee’s Jordan West posted a personal best mark of 19.73 meters (64 feet, 8.75 inches).
In the men’s long jump, the Vols’ Spencer Brown had a personal best leap of 7.11 meters (23-4).
