Four takeaways from LSU’s 44-34 loss to Mississippi State

LSU had issues on both sides of the ball during Saturday’s 44-34 loss to Mississippi State. But Myles Brennan rebounded after a slow start.

3. Jaray Jenkins impressed at wide receiver.

Wideout Jaray Jenkins had a solid outing, as he caught five passes for 85 yards. While he had no touchdown receptions, Jenkins proved that he can play a role in the offense.

He has great speed, and can get to the outside edge in a flash. The passes he caught on Saturday are just a small portion of what is to come for the Sophomore. He matched his receptions total from 2019, and will have many more receptions as the season rolls along.
