Tuesday afternoon, Fox College Football released the ranking of college football programs that led the NFL in passing and rushing touchdowns through week three.

Wisconsin leads all college football programs with 17 touchdowns and is followed by Cal-Berkeley with 15 touchdowns, as well as Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Georgia tied with 13 touchdowns. Wisconsin’s passing and rushing touchdowns come from Russell Wilson with an NFL record 14 passing touchdowns, Jonathan Taylor with two rushing touchdowns, and Melvin Gordon with one rushing touchdown. Russell Wilson is making a strong case for MVP early in the season, and if his outstanding play continues, he will have more NFL records to go alongside his MVP trophy.

This is yet another statistic to show the success of Wisconsin players translating well to the NFL. If only we could enumerate the success of former Wisconsin offensive linemen.
