Former Washington coaches sit atop US LBM Coaches Poll

Former Washington coaches occupy the top of the Week 6 US LBM Coaches Poll.

The Washington Huskies should be looking at the US LBM Coaches Poll and find themselves inside the top 25. Coach Jedd Fisch’s team ranks No. 10 in total defense and scoring defense, No. 6 in passing defense, and No. 21 in total offense.

Yet, due to poor discipline and questionable game management, the Huskies are 3-2 and have lost their two games by a combined total of eight points.

The losses have been painful enough for Husky fans to watch, and looking at the top of the Week 6 US LBM Coaches Poll won’t make it any easier. The Texas Longhorns and Alabama Crimson Tide occupy the top two spots in the rankings, with former Husky head coaches Steve Sarkisian and Kalen DeBoer at the helm of those programs.

After receiving six votes before their matchup with Rutgers, the Huskies are nowhere to be found on the Week Six poll as they prepare for a matchup with No. 10 Michigan.
