Although Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green had an early entrance to the offseason, a small handful of their teammates are still on the court in the NBA Playoffs. With the Golden State Warriors on the outside of the Orlando Bubble, Warriors Wire is checking in on former Dubs in the postseason at Disney World.
On Saturday night, Golden State’s sixth man of the past suited up for the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. After leaving game two early due to a back injury, Andre Iguodala was cleared to play in the third game of the series.
During game three against the Boston Celtics, former Warrior Andre Iguodala went scoreless in seven minutes for the Heat. The Arizona product added two boards in his limited time on the court. Game three marked the first time Iguodala has gone scoreless in back-to-back games since the start of the playoffs.
Bam Adebayo led the Heat with a double-double performance on 27 points and 16 rebounds. Rookie Tyler Herro tacked on 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting from the field in 36 minutes off the bench. Despite the pair of Kentucky products combining for 49 points, it wasn’t enough to slow down the Boston Celtics.
With four players scoring in double-figures, the Boston Celtics were able to stamp their first win of the Eastern Conference series, 117-106. Jaylen Brown was at the top of the Celtics boxscore with 26 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the field in 43 minutes.

Iguodala and the Heat will have the chance to earn a 3-1 lead in the series when they head back to the Disney World court on Wednesday at 5:30 P.M. PT.
