Former Vols’ tight ends coach set for Super Bowl LVII

Former Vols’ tight ends coach is set for Super Bowl LVII with the Eagles.

Philadelphia will play Kansas City in Super Bowl LVII Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. EST. FOX will televise the matchup between the Eagles and Chiefs.

Jason Michael is in his second season as Philadelphia’s tight ends coach. He served as the Vols’ tight ends coach in 2008 and as a graduate assistant at Tennessee from 2003-04.

Michael served as offensive coordinator with the Titans from 2014-15.

Michael played quarterback at Army before transferring to Western Kentucky. He played for head coach Jack Harbaugh at Western Kentucky and was a two-time captain. As a senior in 2002, Michael guided the Hilltoppers to the NCAA I-AA championship and was named the school’s Male Athlete of the Year.
