Two former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA playoffs Wednesday.
In Boston, the second-seeded Celtics defeated No. 7 Brooklyn, 114-107, at TD Garden. Boston trailed by 17 points in the contest.
The Celtics have a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Grant Williams came of the bench and had 17 points and did not miss a shot.
He was 4-for-4 from the floor, 3-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc and 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
Williams totaled five rebounds and two blocks. He played 32 minutes against the Nets.
In Toronto, No. 4 Philadelphia leads 3-0 lead over the Raptors, the No. 5 seed.
The 76ers overcame a 17-point deficit and did not have a lead in regulation. Philadelphia notched a, 104-101, victory at Scotiabank Arena.
Tobias Harris started and played 47 minutes for the 76ers and posted a double-double. He had 11 points and 12 rebounds.
The former Vol had a chance to win the game in regulation, but missed a shot as time expired in the fourth quarter.
Harris also had two assists, one steal and one block.
