The win netted Boston the No. 7 seed. Boston will play the second-seeded Nets in a best-of-7 series, which opens in Brooklyn on Saturday.
Tipoff for the series opener is slated for 8 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on ABC.
With Tuesday’s loss, the Wizards have not been eliminated. They will host Indiana Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT.
The Pacers advanced with a, 144-117, victory over Charlotte Tuesday night.
