Three former University of Tennessee basketball players were in action in NBA games Saturday night.
All three started for their respective teams, which posted mixed results.
In Oklahoma City, Boston downed the Thunder, 111-94, at Chesapeake Energy Center.
Former two-time Southeastern Conference Player of the Year and 2019 first-round draft pick Grant Williams started at forward for the Celtics (23-23).
He logged 25 minutes on the court and scored just two points. The former Volunteer was 1-for-3 from the floor and 0-for-2 from beyond the 3-point arc.
With the loss, Oklahoma City, which led 52-47 at halftime, dropped to 19-26.
The former Volunteer also had seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.
Meanwhile in New Orleans, the Pelicans defeated Dallas, 112-103, and Josh Richardson had his share of offensive struggles. He had just four points, while going 1-for-11 from the field.
Richardson, who was 0-for-4 from long range and went 2-for-2 from the free throw line, had six rebounds and four assists for the Mavericks (23-21).
He played 34 minutes against the Pelicans (20-25).
In Los Angeles, the 76ers had its four-game winning streak snapped with a 122-112 loss to the Clippers at Staples Center.
Former Vol Tobias Harris scored 29 points and made 13 field goals.
He played 32 minutes and pulled down seven rebounds and dished out six assists for Philadelphia (32-14).
The Clippers (31-16) have now won five consecutive games.
