Former Vols in the NBA: March 23 recap

How former Vols performed in the NBA Wednesday.

Five former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA Wednesday. Another was inactive.

In Los Angeles, Philadelphia defeated the Lakers, 126-121, at Crypto.com  Arena.

Tobias Harris started and played 36 minutes for the 76ers. He had 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

Harris was 8-for-15 from the floor, 2-for-5 from beyond the 3-point arc and 2-for-2 from the free throw line.

In Oklahoma City, the Thunder defeated Orlando, 118-102, at Paycom Center.

Admiral Schofield played 23 minutes for the Magic and had six points, three rebounds and two assists.

Schofield was 2-for-8 from the floor and 2-for-6 from long range.

In Boston, the Celtics defeated Utah, 125-97, at TD Garden.

Grant Williams played 12 minutes for Boston. He had four points, one rebound, one steal and one block.

In Portland, a pair of former Vols played against each other as San Antonio defeated the Trail Blazers, 133-96, at Moda Center.

Josh Richardson played 24 minutes for the Spurs. He had 15 points, two assists, two blocks, two steals and one rebound.

Richardson was 6-for-16 from the field and 3-for-11 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Keon Johnson played 23 minutes for the Trail Blazers. He had eight points, two rebounds and two assists.

Johnson was 4-for-13 from the field and 0-for-2 from long range.

In Memphis, rookie Yves Pons was inactive for the Grizzlies in its 132-120 win over Brooklyn at FedEx Forum.
