One former University of Tennessee basketball player was in action in the NBA Saturday night and he led his team into the win column.
Tobias Harris had a game-high 29 points and posted a double-double to lift the 76ers to a 129-105 victory over Sacramento at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Harris, a power forward for the 76ers (29-13), pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out eight assists against the Kings (17-25).
The former Volunteer star started and logged 30 minutes of playing time. Harris also had two steals for the 76ers, who holds the top record in the Eastern Conference.
Harris went 12-for-18 from the floor and was 2-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc. He was also a perfect 2-for-2 from the free throw line for Philadelphia, which has won eight of its last 10 games.
