Two former University of Tennessee basketball players saw action in NBA games on Sunday and both VFLs saw their teams notch victories.
In Philadelphia, Tobias Harris scored 23 points and pulled down nine rebounds as the 76ers defeated San Antonio, 134-99, at Wells Fargo Center.
Harris also dished out seven assists, made a pair of steals and blocked a shot for Philadelphia (27-12). He started and played 28 minutes.
The former Vol went 10-for-18 from the floor and was 1-for-2 from beyond the 3-point arc. He went 2-for-2 from the free throw line against the Spurs (19-16).
Meanwhile, in Houston, Boston toppled the Rockets 134-107 at Toyota Center.
Former Vol Grant Williams scored six points and dished out an assist for the Celtics (20-18) in nine minutes.
He was 2-for-3 from the floor and went 1-for-2 from 3-point range. He was also 1-for-2 from the free throw line.
