Former Volunteer Josh Richardson scored 20 points to help Dallas notch a 116-103 victory over the Nuggets at Bell Arena in Denver.
The Mavericks (20-17) were coming off a 116-108 road loss in Oklahoma City Thursday.
Richardson started at guard for Dallas and logged 35 minutes of court time. He pulled down four rebounds and dished out four assists against the Nuggets (22-16), who led 29-28 after the first quarter.
He recorded two steals and was 6-for-11 from the floor, while making four 3-point shots in five attempts.
Richardson was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
