How former Vols fared in the NBA Wednesday.

Three former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA Wednesday. Two others were inactive.

In Boston, the Celtics lost a 99-97 decision to San Antonio at TD Garden.

Grant Williams and Josh Richardson both appeared off the bench for Boston against the Spurs.

Williams played 22 minutes and had two points and one block.

He was 1-for-2 from the field and 0-for-1 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Richardson played 21 minutes and scored seven points. He was 3-for-5 from the floor and 1-for-2 from long range. He had three steals and two rebounds.

In Orlando, Philadelphia defeated the Magic, 116-106, at Amway Center.

Tobias Harris started and played 44 minutes for the 76ers. He had 22 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks.

Harris was 9-for-19 from the floor and 3-for-6 from beyond the 3-point arc. He was 1-for-1 from the free throw line.

Rookie Jaden Springer was inactive for Philadelphia.

Admiral Schofield, who recently signed a 10-day contract for Orlando, was inactive for the Magic.
