Former Vols in the NBA: Feb. 9 recap

Recapping how former Vols fared in NBA games on Feb. 9.

A pair of former University of Tennessee basketball players were in action in the NBA Tuesday night. Both had late-night tilts against Western Conference teams.

Their respective teams had mixed results.

In Sacramento, Philadelphia notched a, 119-111, victory over the Kings at Golden 1 Arena.

Former Volunteer Tobias Harris started for the 76ers (20-5), playing 41 minutes and posting a double-double. He scored 22 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and had one assist against the Kings (12-12).

Harris was 8-for-15 from the floor and made a pair of 3-pointers. He was also a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.

Meanwhile in Utah, Boston fell to the Jazz, 122-108, at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City.

Former Tennessee star Grant Williams, a power forward, played 28 minutes and scored nine points for the Celtics (12-11).

Williams also had four rebounds, two steals and a block against the Jazz (20-5). He was 4-for-8 from the field with a 3-pointer and 0-for-1 from the foul line.
