One former University of Tennessee basketball player was action in the NBA Monday night and he was involved in a marquee match-up.

The Philadelphia 76ers entered play Monday night with the best record in the Eastern Conference. They tangled with Utah, the top team in the league and the Western Conference.

The two NBA heavyweights tangled in Salt Lake City with the Jazz capturing a 134-123 victory at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

VFL Tobias Harris posted a double-double for Philadelphia, which dropped to 18-10 with the loss.

Harris scored 36 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

He started and logged 37 minutes of court time. The former Vol also dished out two assists and had two steals in the game against Utah (23-5).

Harris went 14-for-24 from the floor and knocked down three 3-point shots. He was a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line.
