Former Vols in the NBA: Dec. 16 recap

How former Vols performed in NBA games Thursday.

One former University of Tennessee basketball player competed in the NBA Thursday and another was inactive.

In Brooklyn, the Nets edged Philadelphia, 114-105, at Barclays Center.

It was the third consecutive loss for the 76ers, who have not won since they defeated Golden State, 102-93, on Dec. 11 in Philadelphia.

Tobias Harris started at forward for the 76ers. He played 37 minutes and had 11 points, seven rebounds, five assists and one block.

He went 3-for-17 from the floor, 0-for-5 from beyond the 3-point arc and 3-for-5 from the free throw line.

Rookie Jaden Springer was inactive for the 76ers. Springer left Tennessee last year after his freshman season.
