In Boston, the Celtics defeated Philadelphia, 88-87, at TD Garden. Three former Vols saw action in the contest and another was inactive.
Tobias Harris started for the 76ers and played 32 minutes. He had eight points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. Harris was 4-for-11 from the floor and 0-for-4 from beyond the 3-point arc.
For the Celtics, Josh Richardson and Grant Williams came off the bench.
Richardson logged 20 minutes and scored seven points. He had three rebounds and one assist. Richardson went 3-for-7 from the field and was 1-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc.
Williams played 15 minutes and had three points, one rebound and one assist. He was 1-for-2 from the field and his shot attempts were all taken from long range.
Rookie Jaden Springer was inactive for the 76ers.
In Los Angeles, the Clippers dropped a 124-115 decision to Sacramento at Staples Center.
Rookie Keon Johnson appeared in the game for Los Angeles.
He played 12 minutes and scored two points against the Kings. He was 0-for-2 from the floor and 0-for-1 from beyond the 3-point arc.
Johnson was 2-for-2 from the free throw line. He also had three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
