One former University of Tennessee basketball player was in action in the NBA Saturday and another was a late scratch due to injury.
In Philadelphia, Tobias Harris had a huge night to lift the 76ers past Minnesota, 122-113, at Wells Fargo Center.
Harris scored 32 points for Philadelphia (34-15) and went 13-for-17 from the floor. He was 2-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
He pulled down five rebounds and dished out four assists.
The former Vol also had one steal and one blocked shot against the Timberwolves (12-38).
Meanwhile in Washington, D.C., Dallas defeated the Wizards, 109-87, at Capital One Arena.
Former Tennessee star Josh Richardson, however, missed the game as he was a late scratch due to left calf tightness.
