Former Vols in the NBA: April 1 recap

How former Vols fared in NBA games Thursday night.

One former University of Tennessee basketball player was in action in an NBA game Thursday night.

His team notched a road victory in Cleveland, snapping a two-game losing streak.

Tobias Harris scored 12 points in Philadelphia’s, 114-94, victory over Cleveland at Quicken Loans Arena.

Harris started and played just 15 minutes for the 76ers (33-15) against Cleveland (17-31).

The former Vol, a forward for Philadelphia, also dished out three assists, pulled down one rebound and posted one blocked shot to help the 76ers snap its two-game skid.

The contest was a tight affair out of the gate as the two Eastern Conference rivals were locked in a 31-31 tie after the first quarter.

Philadelphia had a slim 58-56 lead at halftime before pulling away after the break.
