North Carolina wide receiver Andre Greene Jr. was one of a handful of players to enter the transfer portal following the 2023 regular season.
The former four-star receiver saw limited playing time at North Carolina, being buried on the depth chart. With no clear path to playing time for next season, the decision to enter the portal was likely an easy one. And now, a few weeks later he has found his new home.
Greene Jr. is a Virginia native and is heading back to his home state as he committed to Virginia on Friday. He made the announcement via X (Formerly Twitter):

Greene spent two seasons at North Carolina after committing as part of the 2022 recruiting class. He caught 5 passes for 43 yards and 1 touchdown. The majority of that production came in 2022 during the Holiday Bowl against Oregon.
