Former North Carolina Tar Heels standout Nassir Little is going from a team that missed the playoffs last season to a team that is expected to be one of the title contenders in the NBA for the upcoming year. On Wednesday, Little was one of a handful of players involved in a three-team trade that sent Damian Lillard to Milwaukee.
As part of the deal that saw Lillard land in Milwaukee, Deandre Ayton to Portland, and Jusuf Nurkic heading to Phoenix, Little was also involved as was Grayson Allen, Keon Johnson, Toumani Camara, and Jrue Holiday.
The full trade reported by Adrian Wojnarowski can be seen below:

For Little, this is a chance to play on a contender and turn his career around a little bit. The former lottery pick of the Trailblazers has struggled in his career so far, battling injuries along the way.
In four seasons, Little has averaged 6.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game. That included a career-high 9.8 points in the 2021-22 season.
