Texas A&M softball coach Trisha Ford is reloading for next year via the NCAA Transfer Portal and she has already landed a Top 10 underclassman pitcher.

Former University of Washington freshman right-hander Sidne Peters announced her commitment to the Aggies on Wednesday via Instagram.

Softball America had Peters slotted in the top 10 of its transfer portal rankings. She is a native of Sante Fe, Texas.

“All is good in Aggieland,” Peters stated on social media.

During her lone season in Seattle, Peters was named to the final Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. No joke, she was named the folded conference’s Freshman of the Week on April Fool’s Day.

Peters played in 26 games and made 5 starts for the Huskies. She tallied 62.2 innings in the circle with an 8-1 record, 3.35 earned run average and 70 strikeouts. During Pac-12 play, Peters had a team-best 2.15 ERA with a 5-0 record.
