As the National Football League season creeps closer, the 32 teams are doing the best they can to form their rosters and have their squad ready for the 2024 season. Former UCLA Bruins tight end Michael Ezeike was the beneficiary of a roster move on Monday.
Ezeike signed with the Seattle Seahawks. He is brought in to help with some tight-end reinforcement. Ezeike is back in the league after being on the Los Angeles Chargers practice squad all last season.
The 6’4, 250lbs tight end finished his college career at UCLA in 2022. During that season he played 11 games and started 7 of them. He was fourth on the team with 20 receptions, 226 yards and 4 touchdowns.
His best game was a three-touchdown game against USC. In the 2021 season, he played in all 12 games. Coming to UCLA, he was a four-star prospect out of high school.
The Seahawks are signing Michael Ezeike for some reinforcement at tight end, a source tells me. He went undrafted out of UCLA in 2023 and has spent time with the Chargers. https://t.co/iTN0r0usbY

The Seahawks have had a tough time offensively in the preseason scoring just 15.5 points per game. Seattle plays their final preseason game on August 24th and then will open the regular season against Denver on September 8th.
