Takk McKinley, who played his college football at UCLA before being drafted in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft has a new team. The defensive end has signed with the New York Jets.
The Oakland, California native transferred to UCLA in 2014 and played in 10 games his first season. He made one start and finished with 2.5 sacks. During his junior season, he recorded 3.5 sacks, and his senior year was a monster one with 10 sacks.
McKinley has played for many teams in the National Football League. After his time with the Falcons, he has been on the following teams since 2020; Las Vegas, Cleveland, Tennessee, Los Angeles (Rams), and the Dallas Cowboys.
Jets have signed defensive lineman Takk McKinley, a former first-round pick who joined the team for mandatory minicamp as a tryout player.

The Jets’ first preseason game is slated for August 10th against the Washington Commanders. New York will open their regular season up on Monday Night Football in San Francisco against the 49ers. The first home game for the Jets is in Week 3 against the Patriots on Thursday Night Football.
