Paul Cameron, who played football at UCLA in 1951, 1952, and 1953 will enter the Hall of Fame. The eight-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers will become the 14th player in UCLA Football history to go into the Hall of Fame.
At the age of 91, Cameron died in December of 2023, and the National Football Foundation will be inducting him into the Hall of Fame on December 10th, 2024.
Cameron was a tailback for the Bruins and then played some defensive back as well. He was an All-American during the 1953 season and finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1953. The 1953 team lost to Michigan State 28-20 in the Rose Bowl to finish the season 8-2.
The 6’0, 185 Cameron attended Burbank High School in California.

The annual awards dinner will be held at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. After this is held only 1,043 players and 233 coaches will have been indicated into the College Football Hall of Fame, from over 5.71 million who have coached the game over the past 154 years.
