Former Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Daniel Munyer has announced his retirement from the NFL. Munyer made the announcement via a post on Instagram.
Here’s what Munyer wrote in his post:
Dear Football,
I have been blessed and fortunate enough to be apart of this game since I was seven years old. I’ve experienced the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows during this journey. However, one thing that never wavered was the continuous amount of heart, mind, body and soul that I poured into this game and into every opportunity that came my way. You have truly allowed me to become the best version of myself and I’m so grateful for that.
You have given me resilience, structure, discipline, humility, preparation and belief!
Belief in myself even when nobody else believed in me. Trust in myself even when nobody trusted me. Praying for my success on this journey even when others wouldn’t.

Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2015, Munyer played in 21 games (one start) over five seasons in the NFL, one with the Chiefs and two apiece with the Arizona Cardinals and Titans.
The 31-year-old played in five games for Tennessee, three in 2020 and two in 2022.
