Former Clemson wide receiver Joseph Ngata balled out for the Philadelphia Eagles in their 14-13 Week 2 preseason win over the New England Patriots.
Ngata has been reported to be receiving some first-team reps early in camp with the Eagles, which is a good sign for the roster hopeful. Showing off in a preseason game was an excellent way for Ngata to further make the case for his place on this roster.
Catching all five targets that came his way, Ngata recorded 88 yards as the Eagles’ top receiver. Currently, in a battle with John Ross and E.J. Jenkins for a roster spot, performances like this are huge for the former Tiger.
If Ngata can put together another excellent preseason performance like this, the second-year wideout will be in a great situation.
