Former Clemson wide receiver Deon Cain has landed a new opportunity in the NFL, signing a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills, where he’ll don the No. 14 jersey previously worn by star wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
A sixth-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts in 2018, Cain has also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, and Philadelphia Eagles, appearing in 15 NFL games with nine receptions for 124 yards. He has proven himself as a player who deserves another opportunity to make a name for himself in the NFL.
At Clemson, Cain recorded 130 catches for 2,040 yards and 20 touchdowns over three seasons. Most recently, Cain shined in the USFL, earning MVP honors in the 2023 Championship Game with the Birmingham Stallions, where he posted three touchdowns and 726 all-purpose yards.
