Former Clemson star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has suffered a preseason injury that will set him back some weeks.
DeAndre Hopkins, the Tennessee Titans wide receiver, expected to miss four to six weeks due to a knee injury sustained in practice. Despite the setback, ESPN reports that the team is hopeful he could return in time for the September 8 season opener against the Chicago Bears.
Hopkins, a five-time All-Pro and Pro Bowler joined the Titans last offseason and quickly made an impact with 75 catches for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns. With an impressive career spanning 11 years, Hopkins has tallied 928 catches for 12,355 yards and 78 touchdowns across stints with the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, and now the Titans.
As the Titans gear up for the new season, they’ll eagerly anticipate Hopkins’ return to bolster their offensive lineup.
