Charlton Warren has joined Mack Brown’s coaching staff at North Carolina.
Warren will serve as co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach for the Tar Heels. Former Tennessee assistant Tommy Thigpen (2013-17) is co-defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach at North Carolina.
Warren served as defensive backs coach and special teams coordinator in 2017 at Tennessee under then-head coach Butch Jones.
He coached cornerbacks at Florida in 2018, defensive backs at Georgia from 2019-20 and defensive coordinator with Indiana in 2021.
