Former Steeler Antonio Brown contemplates whether to return to football

Former Steelers wide receiver seems to be having an internal battle over returning to football.

In a 25-minute Twitter conversation between Antonio Brown and Antonio Brown, the former Steelers receiver seems to be thinking deeply (yes, again) about whether he wants to return to football.

Brown went on to say “At this point the risk is greater than the reward thank you everyone who been part of this journey i sincerely thank you for everything! life goes on 84!”

We all know that Brown craves attention, so this could just be another one of those fleeting moments. Even if he wanted to get back into the game, he still faces a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault and rape and could face league discipline in both matters.

A third Tweet has Brown believing that his football mission is complete:

If Brown doesn’t play another snap in the NFL, I’m glad he feels a sense of closure with it. In my opinion, he’s far from having “done everything” in the game, and he fell way short of what he could have accomplished had he had his head on straight. Brown was one of the best receivers in football for several years, but he didn’t break any records and never competed in a Super Bowl. I think for him to say he “conquered” the game is a gross overstatement. Not a surprise coming from him, though.
