Former Spartan, Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker misses practice, dealing with ‘little hernia thing’

Former Spartan running back star Kenneth Walker III could be starting his NFL career by missing some time on the field

Former Spartan running back star Kenneth Walker III could be starting his NFL career by missing some time on the field.

Walker missed practice on Tuesday, and Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll confirmed he’s dealing with a hernia injury at the moment. The full quote from Carroll on Walker’s injury can be seen below:

Walker is entering his first season in the NFL after the Seahawks selected him in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Walker appeared with the Seahawks’ first-team offense in their preseason opener last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his preseason debut, he recorded 19 rushing yards on five carries.

Hopefully, this injury won’t keep Walker sidelined for too long as he appears to be in position for a big-time role in Seattle’s offense this season.
