Former Sixers forward Trevor Booker announces his retirement from NBA

Former Philadelphia 76ers forward Trevor Booker has retired from the NBA.

With the NBA season on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic so there is no basketball going on. The big breaking news during this time is that a former Philadelphia 76ers forward is announcing his retirement.

Trevor Booker, who was acquired in the Jahlil Okafor trade from the Brooklyn Nets in 2017, played 33 games for the Sixers and averaged 4.7 points and 3.7 rebounds off their bench. The Sixers then released him and he finished with the Indiana Pacers.

He started with a video sporting a new look to promote his retirement letter. In the letter, he says he has partnered with Dallas Mavericks managing partner Mark Cuban on Cuban’s show “Shark Tank”. He ended it by thanking the game of basketball for what it has done for him and his life.
