The 2020-21 season looks a little cloudy at the moment as the league continues to sift through all of the issues coming forward. Nobody truly knows when next season will begin considering all of the questions that need to be answered.
In light of this, some players would look to move forward with their own futures and try to figure out what to do next. For a former member of the Philadelphia 76ers and the team’s G League affiliate Delaware Blue Coats, that future is overseas.
Haywood Highsmith, who played in five games for Philadelphia in the 2018-19 season and then played with them in the preseason in 2019-20, will sign in Germany with Merlins Crailsheim of the German Bundesliga, per Sportando. He spent the 2019-20 regular season in Delaware where he averaged 10.4 points and 6.7 rebounds with 2.7 assists.
Former NBAer Haywood Highsmith has signed with Crailsheim Merlins in Germany. Highsmith last playe din the NBA in 2018-19 with the Philadelphia 76ers.

This will be a good opportunity for Highsmith to make a move forward in his career. He was blocked in Philadelphia at the moment by Matisse Thybulle and others so this is a new chance for him to shine and show off more of his game.
