With one week left in the NFL regular season, teams across the league are shifting their focus to the future and the NFL draft. As teams prepare to narrow down their lists of draft targets, a former Rutgers kicker, Valentino Ambrosio, is entering the mix. For teams in need of kicking help Ambrosia could be a helpful addition.
The New Jersey native enters the NFL draft waters after an impressive collegiate career. While at Tulane and Rutgers, Ambrosio attempted 65 field goals, making 53. During the 2023 campaign, he showed off his range by making a career-long 49-yarder.
Additionally, Ambrosi has been a player his teams can rely on. Since making his college debut in 2020, he has never recorded lower than a 75 percent field goal percentage in a season. In that span, he has recorded 289 points.

While Ambrosio is preparing for the next step in his career, he made an impact at Tulane. On Monday, he took the time on social media to thank
his coaches and teammates.
In a statement on Twitter, Ambrosio said, ” To my teammates- Thank you all for pushing me to be the best I can be every day. I will never forget all of the memories and history we made at Tulane.
“To my coaches- Thank you for modeling me into the man I am today. I wouldn’t be in this position without you guys.”
